As the Project Manager - Digital Workplace, your time will be spent working alongside the Head of Digital Workplace on managing the global intranet and supporting the implementation of the local intranets for our employees across offices and asset sites in Glencore (e.g. Australia, Canada, and South Africa).

The role

  • Ensuring a full understanding of all activities related to the support of the global intranet and the roll out of the local office intranets
  • Ensuring that development and implementation of the features relevant for the Intranet a delivered on time and to its highest value for all employees
  • Reviewing and improving the relevant project documents, processes, tools and regular meetings for the project team to ensure success
  • Coordinating and prioritising project tasks, managing timelines, maintaining project plans, and communicating status to Head of Digital Workplace Experience
  • Coordinating with individual teams including, the platform product team, content editors, usability experts, Intranet managers and other internal stakeholders (subject matter experts) on the relevant stages of intranet development. Including the content inventory, content migration, content creation and the content review and validation stages as the intranets are launched

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years project management experience in digital workplace and collaboration initiatives in medium-sized or large companies
  • Very good and broad IT knowledge with a focus on digital workplace & collaboration infrastructures (especially Microsoft M365 and teams)
  • Knowledge of digital workplace trends, architectures / designs and best practices
  • A methodological competence in agile project management
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments and across multiple geographies
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, and other collaboration tools
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Current SWISS B/C Permit or passport holder of EU
