The Project Manager/Scrum Master role is an integral part of the Middleware and Integrations Team as we grow and work across the globe to connect any combination of on-premise or cloud-based applications and automating business processes using the latest Dell Boomi and Informatica technologies. The incumbent will leverage their expertise to lead Agile practices across the Middleware Integrations team, assist with managing the flow of work, creatively solve problems to accomplish outcomes, track team output and achievement, and identify continuous process improvement opportunities. What You’ll Do
  • Monitor incoming work requests collaborating with cross-functional teams to clarify needs and requirements; assist to negotiate timelines and schedule delivery
  • Participate in IT governance processes to drive change control process
  • Plan and conduct daily management rhythms (e.g. sprint planning & backlog reviews, daily stand-ups, resource allocation reviews, sprint demos/retrospectives and more)
  • Create a collaborative team environment providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement while promoting Agile behaviours and principles
  • Work with the team to develop project plans, roadmaps and manage backlog
  • Ensure all scrum activities are tracked and kept up-to-date and reported daily
  • Own backlog, continuously grooming and planning 1-2 sprints in advance
  • Communicate team plans, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain log of issues and blockers; manage risks to enable team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure balanced workloads; partner with team leads to remediate resourcing risks
  • Partner with production operations to coordinate change reviews, release, and deployment activities
  • Drive adoption and usage of Meister Plan, Jira and ServiceNow across organization
  • Actively participate as a member of the PMO providing relevant status updates, raising risk and driving collaboration and transparency across the Enterprise Applications organization
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science of Information Technology or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of project management or related experience
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a Scrum Master or similar Agile role applying Agile principles and practices including delivery of several epics, releases and versions and application of a wide variety of patterns and techniques (i.e. leveraging burndown, facilitating retrospectives, refining user stories, etc.)
  • Experience working in Meister Plan, Aha, Jira, PowerAutomate and ServiceNow or equivalent
Technical Expertise:
  • Experienced managing software development projects across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of Agile values and principles, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks
  • Understanding of scaled Agile approaches
  • Ability to apply scrum estimation techniques to software development efforts,
  • Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, ITIL
Preferred Experience:
  • PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Programming/development experience
  • Experience implementing best practices and standards related to Agile product development
  • Experience in working with global outsourcing partners
  • Experience leading others with the ability to earn trust while still challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone in an Agile environment
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills across global, heavily matrixed organizations
  • Ability to quickly prioritize issues/requests and be capable of personally diving deep when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated timeframe
  • Works well under pressure and can resolve complex problems
  • Works in a collaborative fashion, elevates team results over individual results
  • Continually look for ways to improve
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict mediation, and situational awareness skills
