Are you a motivated and performance-oriented person looking for an opportunity in the execution of the company’s transformation strategy?
You will be responsible for the Project Portfolio Management and part of the Transformation & Strategy Office.

Project Portfolio Expert (m/w/d)

What to expect
  • Coordinate the overall PPM process and its deadline monitoring
  • Provide guidance on portfolio priorities and insights, advise teams on internal governance processes
  • Collect relevant information from the departments and the responsible project managers
  • Manage the (financial) planning and budgeting of the project portfolio
  • Work closely with the Finance and Operations departments
  • Create tables, presentations, reports with the necessary data to prepare analyses and comments (if necessary, also ad-hoc)
  • Ensure the flow of information and communication (e.g., regular reports to the management)
  • Further develop the existing process for the "Portfolio Management" project, considering our strategic transformation program

The skills you’ll bring
  • University degree in economics or natural sciences or higher professional training in insurance-related courses of study
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in an insurance company or a management consultancy with a strong financial and number-oriented focus; previous experience in project portfolio management high desirable
  • Many years of experience in communication and cooperation with different business units
  • Very good presentation (with Microsoft PowerPoint) and report (with Microsoft Excel and Word) skills
  • Experience with agile ways of working and very high resilience, even in stressful situations
  • Willingness to professionally lead other internal or external employees if necessary
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, other national languages desirable
