To support our e-Mobility Group we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains for a:

Project Quality Engineer

The purpose of the role is to represent the Quality department in transport projects by guaranteeing methodological rigor in the development plan and to coordinate all quality activities within the project teams. The mission is to ensure compliance with customer requirements and to apply the Quality processes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that development standards are met.
  • Ensure that the customer requirements are transcribed at all stages of the project.
  • Ensure the follow-up of project milestones versus customer schedule.
  • Anticipate and identify all risks associated with products and processes in projects and manage corrective action plans until the problem is resolved.
  • Participate in the validation plan according to the customer’s expectations and ensure the execution of tests during the project.
  • Ensure consistency between product and process characteristics, participate/lead D-FMEA / P-FMEA and develop control plans.
  • Ensure the quality level of the processes during the development and industrialization phases with the team and suppliers and participate in the approval of initial samples of components and final products.
  • Interface with customer/supplier on all incidents with 8D/PDCA completion.

Skills and Experience:

  • Quality, Mechanical or Electrical engineer (HES/EPF) with additional training in Quality management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality or project development in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO TS 22163.
  • Strong knowledge and experience to use the main Quality tools: 8D, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, PPAP, FAI.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) training or equivalent is an asset.
