Your tasks
  • Responsible for quality improvement and cost reduction of the product line Mill S
  • Regularly perform value analysis, define and implement saving potential with purchasing, production and quality departments
  • Guarantee the supply of key components in cooperation with the purchasing department and defining appropriate measures, if required
  • Regularly review of suppliers in collaboration with Strategic Procurement and coordinate the implementation of any changes supply chain or technical changes to the existing product line Mill S
  • Define when and how new components will be validated and released. Track, coordinate and release validation
  • Responsible for cost reduction of products line Mill S
  • Work with the operative procurement and the planning to avoid slow movers, to reduce our stock value, while increasing our delivery flexibility
  • Interface between R&D, production, planning and quality. Actively participate in the evaluation of Mill S PQI points.
  • Participate in various internal projects
  • Participate to design review of new similar product development to assure that the lesson learned are transfer in the new product
Your profile
  • Basic technical training as a technician HF
  • Further education as mechanical engineer or MBA preferred
  • Several years of experience in the field of plant or mechanical engineering
  • High technical and business understanding
  • High sense of responsibility as well as independent, structured way of working
  • Experienced handling of MS-Office programs
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
