Analysis Engineer Subsea (80 - 100%) - Winterthur, Switzerland

Join our Technology Center within Flow Equipment Division in Winterthur to help us take the Subsea Development Group to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:
  • Analyzing the state-of-the-art subsea product portfolio of the Flow Equipment Division (static and dynamic)
  • Multiphase pump (MPP) dynamic analysis, including the related auxiliary systems
  • Support, maintenance and validation of pressure loss analysis of cooling- and lubricant circuits using PIPEFLO
  • Support, maintenance and validation of Subsea Barrier Fluid System simulations using MATLAB
  • Support multiphase pump and component (bearings, seals) test activities (specification, execution and evaluation of tests)
  • Actively supporting global, cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparation of technical documentation in English
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the field of subsea pumping
  • Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Python, piping system modeling/analysis software (PipeFlo), CAD (Siemens NX, Medusa), PLM (TeamCenter)
  • Passionate about the dynamics of pumping systems
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality
  • Team-oriented personality but also able to work independently
  • High integrity and openness to people with various backgrounds and culture
  • Excellent command of English, German is considered a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
