Analytical Project Leader (4632 – ETH)

Our client is a pioneer in Drug Discovery and Development and one of the frontrunners in Personalised Healthcare. As the world`s largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally.

We are currently looking for a6 months contract Analytical Project Leader.

Main Responsibilities
  • Covering all analytical aspects of the drug development lifecycle (drug substance and/or drug product analytics of synthetic molecules)
  • Delivering packages that provide a solid control strategy for reliable commercial manufacturing of the products
  • Collaborate closely with peers, lab technicians and cross-functional partners from e.g. process development, material sciences, formulation, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance
  • Contribute actively to regulatory submissions like IND and NDA by drafting the appropriate sections and providing scientific support in answering questions from health authorities
  • Reporting out progress regularly to the Technical Development Team and collaborate with stakeholders form different disciplines, varying with the clinical phase of the project
Qualifications And Experience
  • Master or PhD in chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or biochemistry
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with analytical development, synthetic molecules technical development of small molecules
  • Experience in working with health authorities
  • Experience in the supervision of technical work and lab technicians
  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
