As the Application Security Officer (m/f/d) you are reporting directly to the Head of R&D and work in close cooperation with the Enterprise Architect, members of the Technology Board, different Development Teams and Product Management. You are responsible to introduce and implement the fundamental technical requirements of ISO 27001 in our existing and future software solutions. Furthermore, you will be supporting the cloud transition strategy of our exisiting products.

Job Description:

Your Main Tasks:

  • Introduce and implement the key terms and definitions used in the ISO/IEC 27001 series in our software solutions and use of controls to mitigate IS risks
  • Taking care of fundamental requirements for an ISMS in ISO/IEC 27001 and the need for continual improvement.
  • Interface between customers and team responsible to address the external requests related to AppSec
  • Ensuring security at all levels of deployment, operation, architecture and coding, which includes training and coaching developers and other architects in the security aspects.
  • Develop and coordinate cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development advisory, identity and access management, network and data management, and security
  • Develop architectural artifacts to lead the delivery of a successful implementation

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Information Technology
  • Knowing and practical experience of the scope and purpose of ISO/IEC 27001 and how it can be used.
  • Proven technical experience across multiple security disciplines – web applications, cloud-native applications, mobile, cloud infrastructure
  • Software development experience in at least one language: C#, Java or C++
  • Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider
  • Experience with multiple software development methodologies
  • DevSecOps mindset and excellent analytical skills
  • Several years of proven hands-on technical management experience of software engineers and software engineering managers
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate technical aspects to management and other IT development partners (English and German)
