Are you customer focused, future orientated, strategic thinker, able to navigate complex challenges? Do you have previous experience from Brand Strategy area? Then we look for you!

What will you do

You will become a part of a product and solution category marketing team and will help develop, implement, and manage key brand strategies for Johnson Controls within a portfolio and solution set. In addition, this role will manage brand architecture, brand rationalization and brand naming and taxonomy programs.

How will you do it

  • Develop clear, customer-driven brand architecture and brand hierarchy strategies to match enterprise strategy and vision

  • Evaluate category brand strategy against competitive set and define opportunities and gaps

  • Evolve brand strategies to support growth targets and market position

  • Develop multi-channel go to market brand strategies and manage the implementation

  • Implement brand management and measurement frameworks as a strategic brand operating system

  • Manage matrix relationships with diverse stakeholders to drive connectivity to the enterprise strategy

  • Assess and develop descriptive naming and taxonomy aligned with the global operating system and manage the aligned execution

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive marketing, brand, or related experience, focused on brand architecture, naming and taxonomy

  • Demonstrated experience in multichannel brand and or marketing strategy execution

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills

  • Ability to collaborate in a matrix environment to effectively balance priorities.

  • Proven track record of strong leadership

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related curriculum.

  • 3-4 years of direct experience in brand management or marketing consulting firm

  • International marketing experience
