The Janssen Supply Chain Group, a member of the Johnson & Johnson companies, is recruiting for a Digital and automation scientist paperless labs, reporting into QC Operations. Position can be based in any of our Operating Companies.Principle Responsibilities
The position will play a key role in the deployment and maintenance of the digitalization/automation project for the J&J labs. The laboratory mission is to increase lab reliability through automation of processes and reduction in manual transcription of data, improved electronic control and data capture, delivering data integrity and efficiency value using global lab systems.
Main responsibility for the position is to support the paperless lab program.
- Participate in deployment activities across sites
- Supports standardization discussions related to business processes to translate user requirements into system solutions
- Craft the system solution and leading proof of concept designs
- Leads and supports qualification activities when applicable
- Responsible for identification of new opportunities to automate the lab and working together with customers to define short and long term opportunities
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree required, Physical / Life Science, IT focus preferred. An advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience including at least one of the following: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Analytical Testing, or systems, including experience working in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
- Strong communication and customer approach.
- Strong problem solving, logical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Broad knowledge and experience with cGMPs, regulations, risk management and Computer System Validation. Previous Quality Systems experience desirable.
- Ability to independently lead multiple issues, prioritize and bring up to management when appropriate.
- Ability to develop training and deliver to colleagues and partners.
- Knowledge of/familiarity with the appropriate Laboratory System (eLIMS)
- Proficient in English.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to build and develop strong, positive relationships with customers and partners in Global Quality Systems, R&D, IT and other Quality functional groups required.
- Experience in applying TrackWise, qTest, TruVault, Asset Management systems, a plus.
- Experience with data reporting and analytics. Developing & qualifying reports and dashboards using reporting tools (i.e. Tableau, Spotfire)
