ERM, the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, is looking an inspirational EMEA Regional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead to join us. This person will contribute to our global Diversity, Equality and Inclusion approach, providing leadership, support and direction at the EMEA level. The role provides and implements solutions to complex inclusion challenges within the framework of relevant legislation, ERM policies and our global DE&I strategy. The EMEA DE&I Lead is responsible for implementing the regional plan in EMEA, as well as providing a high standard of advice, support and delivery across the business on diversity, equality and inclusion matters. The role-holder is expected to connect our global priorities with regional action plans, as well as being the primary connection point for the EMEA Employee Resource Groups. This is a key role within the business to ensure that we not only meet our diversity and inclusion duties, aims and objectives, but also that these support and enable greater client relationships. This covers all the statutorily recognized protected characteristics and other differences. This position can be based in one of our offices within the EMEA region.

The role

Your Responsibility Can Be Summarized As Following
  • Create and implement the EMEA DE&I action plan in conjunction with the EMEA Leadership Team and Global Head of DE&I; track and report quarterly on progress to ensure that learning and results are utilised to improve DE&I programs and processes
  • Develop and implement an annual strategic plan and associated budgets, ensuring they are met in a timely fashion
  • Assist with diversity analytics, including benchmarking, tracking metrics, analysing and generating diversity reporting for regional management to highlight trends and demonstrate impact of DE&I programs and initiatives
  • Serve on ERM’s global DE&I team; collaborate with peers across regions
  • Provide coordination of EMEA Employee Resource Groups; ensure connection to global priorities and raise key issues to the global level
  • Partner with Regional ERGs to identify, build, and sustain at least one community partnership per ERG to support corporate diversity and inclusion projects/plans/initiatives and business strategies
  • In conjunction with ERGs, steward engagement activities on at least three key topics (International Women’s Day, Pride, Black History Month, etc.)
  • Actively engage with Partners and employees creating effective feedback loops around our DE&I efforts and adjust programs accordingly
  • Work with Talent Acquisition in EMEA to implement DE&I initiatives, e.g. sourcing, social media campaigns, Early Career programs and advertising with minority/diverse professional associations
  • Partner with Communications to regularly communicate internal and external diversity and inclusion initiatives, events and progress to EMEA and Global Head of DE&I; support client engagements
  • Participate in Yammer, staff calls and other forums to celebrate progress and share future milestone events, including support for ERM’s annual Global Inclusion Week in EMEA
  • Update and maintain the EMEA DE&I SharePoint site
