SPINOFRIN is looking for a Facility Manager on a permanent basis. You will report to the site Head.

Job Description

The Utilities manager position is responsible for leading utilities Maintenance operation that supports a pharmaceutical site at Spinofrin Aesch facilities. The position will provide technical direction with Preventive Maintenance scheduling, energy reduction initiatives, manage EHS and GMP compliance aspects, utilities operation and repair.

  • Drive Safety and Compliance Culture
  • Maintain documentation for all maintenance activities
  • Able to use/navigate computer and/or computer-based software
  • Perform emergency and corrective repairs
  • Perform Preventive maintenance to keep the equipment in good working condition
  • Complete the installation or system modifications for all equipment and systems
  • Takes responsibility to improve skills and techniques
  • Assist with new equipment, development, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested and completes them in a timely and detailed manner
  • Provide training or guidance to future maintenance positions
  • Work with vendors on repairs and document that activity accordingly
  • Order parts and supplies for equipment
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Follows training or guidance provided by other team
  • Control department budget
  • Manage capital projects
  • Implement initiatives to reduce energy consumption / cost
  • Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments
  • Manage all utilities systems in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, EHS and cGMP requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) instructions.
  • Act as a representative for basic HSE for the next years principally for waste.
  • Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor in Science or Engineering fields
  • Master degree preferred
  • Two to five years’ experience in utilities operation and maintenance capacity as either a engineer, mechanic or technician, with experience in a managerial role within a pharmaceutical or chemical industry.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Skill levels in MS Office including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Must be able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity and discretion.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Fluent in German and English, French if possible.
