So finden Sie unsere Batterien z.B. in elektrischen Bussen, Zügen oder Fähren.

Leclanché wurde 1909 mit Hauptsitz in Yverdon-Les-Bains (Schweiz) gegründet und beschäftigt heutzutage rund 250 Mitarbeiter. Unser Produktionsstandort in Deutschland befindet sich in Willstätt.

Fire Engineer in Switzerland

Our e-Transport Engineering group is responsible for designing complete energy storage solutions using Leclanché produced battery modules, BMS and other required components. In order to support the current rapid expansion in the market demand for our products, the e-Transport Engineering group is looking, for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, engineers to analyse requirements, design and test new battery system solutions, as well as mitigate battery system risks.

The engineer in this position is responsible for setting-up, testing, analysis and mitigation of the following battery system risks:

  • fire (initiation, detection, suppression, containment/propagation in module/system).
  • pack explosion, (projection, prevention).
  • gas flow released (composition, toxicity limits, extraction, eventually cooling).
Aufgaben

  • Analyze fire risks on new and existing products.
  • Be part of the product development team.
  • Coordinate simulations-modelling activities for fire related aspects.
  • Plan and organise testing campaigng at all levels (Cell level – Module level – Sub pack level – Pack level – Production level).
  • Guide the design of solutions.
  • Participate to the definition of the fire safety case and related documentation.
  • Participate to the product Validation for the fire aspects.
Qualifikation

  • Engineering degree.
  • Experience in fire analysis and study, working with batteries is a plus.
  • Ability to organize test campaigns.
  • Ability to use and eventually to define data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to analyse and implement regulations of different industrial sectors – Automotive, Marine, Railway etc.
  • Ability to perform or specify simulation analysis.
  • Ability to perform characterisation of materials and systems.
  • Adaptability and Autonomy, ability to work in a diverse team.
  • Open mindedness and resilience.
  • Good Communication level in English (C1), other languages (German and/or French) is a plus.
