Responsibilities
Global Commercial Business Development:
- Business Development for the IQVIA commercial portfolio in a large global German Headquarter account
- Uncovers multi-country opportunities for analytics, integrated data, commercial effectiveness, brand and launch management, value optimization, outsourcing (e.g. CSO) in close alignment with the Real World and Technology account business partners
- Co-develops proposals for the commercial portfolio in a consultative approach in close alignment with the account business partners and offering teams
- Analyses the competitive environment within the account
- Proactively acquires in depth expertise of client’s product and pipeline portfolio and how IQVIA services can be aligned to this
- Monitors delivery, implementation and customer satisfaction of projects and service contracts
- Manages global / regional contract negotiations in close alignment with other information teams
- Seeks “starburst” opportunities to grow revenue opportunities across the IQVIA information portfolio
- Handles Master Service Agreement negotiations
- Gathers market and client intelligence and provides strategic feedback to the account team
- Supports local country teams to identify commercial portfolio opportunities
- Shares HQ client strategies and projects with high impact on local country business development
- Contributes to the local account planning strategy
- Supports local country workshops with defined agendas (e.g. SF Excellence, GTM for launch brands)
- Supports other account team members with the preparation of client presentations and client thought leadership, BD events
- Acquires insight and keeps track of innovation and new offering developments across the IQVIA Commercial, Technology and Real-World portfolio
Experience:
- Consultative selling skills
- Track record of consulting, analytics or commercial services project delivery and sales success
- Commercial consulting and analytics proposal development skills
- Ability to act with a sense of urgency, can work both independently and within a team environment
- Developing positive relationships at all levels of external customer management and within the internal IQVIA internal Sales, Consulting and Offering teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exposed to an international business environment and global / regional coordination roles
- Excellent business fluent level of English
- Organized and well-structured working style
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Team orientation
- Success oriented business development acumen
