Job Title: Intern International Show Management


For our EME Headquarters based in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, we are looking for an:

Intern International Show Management 100%

This position will be based at our European Headquarters, Neuhausen, Switzerland and is planned for a period of 6 months. Preferred start date 1st September 2021 or as soon as possible.


Job Summary:

International shows, both on and offline, are a key part of AGCO’s marketing mix, involving all of AGCO’s key brands.

Preparing for and executing Agritechnica in February 2022 in Hannover, Germany is a key activity for AGCO. To help drive a successful show, AGCO’s Multi-Brand Strategy and Brand Governance team is looking for a digital / physical event-management savvy, project management-focused and creative intern through to March 31, 2022 to support the team’s International Exhibition Manager.


The position is based in Neuhausen, Switzerland. It is a 100% role for the duration of the internship. The working language is English.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Manager in aligning AGCO’s brands and key suppliers in defining stand layout, composition and construction
  • Supporting the Manager in proposing with AGCO’s suppliers stand material and set-up solutions to AGCO’s brands
  • Supporting the Manager in managing show cost and invoice management across the brands
  • Supporting the Manager in defining and tracking show cost KPIs
  • Supporting the Manager in handling VIP arrangements for shows
  • Supporting the manager in setting up project management sessions as well as producing status update materials


Requirements / Minimum Qualification and Competencies:

To apply for this position you should have the following qualifications and competencies


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Project management experience, ideally in event management
  • Online and offline marketing knowledge
  • Understanding of best practices for hosting virtual events
  • Experience in a matrix environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge in sustainable event solutions is an advantage
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills
  • Written and verbal business English fluency.
  • A minimum working knowledge of either German or French
