Job Description
  • Responsible for all technical plant accounting issues
  • Manage the balance sheet and P&L statement preparation
  • Manage the Budget, Forecasts submissions
  • Manages the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, & annual reporting requirements
  • Responsible for the Manufacturing Site planning functions including budget and forecasting
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the standard costs starting with the bill of materials and item costs, labor routings, labor rates, as well as overhead assignments
  • Meets with plant management and other departments to discuss accounting problems, policy interpretations, cost distributions and saving initiatives
  • Supervises fixed assets of the facility
  • Identifying Cost Savings – You will be responsible for developing the cost savings pipeline by working with the operations team to identify opportunities in reductions of financial standards
  • Analyze balance sheet for key accounts, including inventory, E&O Reserve
Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
  • At least 5 years relevant finance experience with a background in manufacturing required
  • Good understanding of process standard cost accounting
  • Experience with Oracle / SAP preferred
  • Must be flexible and comfortable in setting own priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with HFM
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed on various projects
  • Outstanding ability to communicate, motivate and partner with business operation leaders
  • Ability to drive process improvement
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, “start-up” environment
