The Manager, Global Brand Campaigns will drive the planning, development and deployment of our global brand campaign toolkits that deliver recognition and engagement for Johnson Controls capabilities and growth areas.

How Will You Do It

Responsible for driving the global brand campaign toolkits, the role includes:

Planning
  • Align toolkit plans to global business strategies, customer value proposition and messaging priorities and pivot with critical trends
  • Develop, update and communicate annual plan for global campaign toolkit with Marketing teams and related support functions, incl clear campaign toolkit scope, campaign toolkit timings and campaign hierarchies
  • Ensure coordinated planning, review and update approach to ensure local campaign plans are in sync and activated with the global toolkit deliverables in all key markets globally
  • Maintain detailed and always up to date campaign toolkit plans and summaries for planning sessions with business units, updates to leaders and onboarding of new team members. This includes outline of white papers, infographics, webinar content and related support materials
  • Develop and share regular cadence toolkit updates with business units to ensure broad awareness and use of our global toolkit assets; track usage, assess gaps and provide reports
  • Assess JCI campaign toolkit plan compared to competitive set to ensure it delivers leadership positioning and capture insights from the reviews to inform the planning
  • Stand up, update and manage global vertical market SME teams aligned with enterprise and regional priorities. Manage the meeting cadence, deliverable focus and drive to continuous progress and stakeholder update communication as this team develops, enhances and updates the global industry-specific toolkits
Development
  • Lead and collaborate on the development of the global campaign toolkit deliverables with input from subject matter experts, business stakeholders and functional team members in the global marketing center of excellence such as Social, Web, Design, etc.
  • Ensure clear development priorities and create awareness and coordinate development to meet defined deadlines
  • Ensure customer insights, campaign learnings and high performing asset best practices are built into the toolkits to ensure high impact campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with global creative resources internally and externally to ensure value proposition and message consistency across all campaign toolkits and drive updates as needed
  • Share regular progress updates and lead regular cadence campaign toolkit working team calls to ensure input and alignment across stakeholders and teams
Activation
  • Plan with business and marketing stakeholders how the global campaign toolkits are activated in each key market
  • Manage dashboards within the clear campaign hierarchy that show the campaign activation progress and impact worldwide
  • Develop and maintain effective campaign toolkit portals and overviews to support activation planning
  • Systemically capture and summarize campaign toolkit impact, working team feedback and campaign learnings to shape next set of campaign assets and processes for impact and process optimization
  • Parallel track campaign toolkit activation planning with business units across all the major business themes and strategic priorities to ensure brand awareness and engagement is delivered on these priorities
What We Look For
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing and delivering global brand campaigns
  • Deep understanding of what success looks like in diverse, global B2B environments
  • Proven track record in devising and deploying global campaign plans including transformation experience moving business capabilities to mature processes to succeed
  • Highly structured and organized individual, managing large global working teams and deep global campaign toolkits
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and empower teams to execute plans.
  • Experience working in complex matrix organizations at fast pace
  • Understanding of customer journeys & matching campaign best practices
  • Leadership skills to achieve global roll-out in matrixed management environment.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and solve challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills to prioritize tasks / projects in order to hit deadlines.
Preferred
  • Commercial Technology sector experience
  • Building Technology industry and target audience knowledge
  • Fluent in English ideally to a native level
