PRIMARY TEACHERS Replacement positions

Responsibilities

In collaboration with another classroom teacher,
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop the most effective child-centered teaching and learning strategies
  • Ascertain the holistic and specific learning needs of the students based on effective and ongoing evaluation of the child
  • Is willing to participate in special school events (concerts, festivals and presentations) to help promote the community of the school
  • Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continued professional learning
Candidates Requirements
  • Internationally recognized teaching certification with at least three years of experience in having full responsibility for a class
  • Have training and experience in innovative child-centered pedagogies (i.e., The Reggio Approach)
  • Have experience of working in an international school
  • Ability to work as an effective and collaborative team member
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and drive: have a passion for teaching and learning with a drive to achieve the highest possible standards
  • Be able manage resources efficiently so that teaching and learning is effectively supported
  • Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
  • Have an ability to work in French and English
  • Good communication skills with colleagues and parents
