Experis IT Switzerland is in search of a Project Manager to join one of our clients, a leading Medical Device Company. For this contract role based in Zug, Switzerland, we are in search of a fluent English speaking candidate who is available to start at a short notice.

Work Location: Zug

Start Date: 17 February 2022

Duration: 6-12 months with possibility of contract extension

About The Project

To support the development of Digital Products we are looking for a Project Manager with practical experience in agile environments.

The position is a Full time split between two assignments. One is the on-market support of a freshly launched digital product, the other is the continuous development of a customer-facing IT application. A successful candidate is interested to work with multiple teams, brings an agile mindset, and is well-versed in standard Project Management activities

You Bring
  • At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in medical devices or other highly regulated industry, focusing on software product development projects
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of agile development practices
  • Completed further studies in the field of engineering, natural sciences or comparable vocational training or further education
  • Project management certification (eg IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2)
  • Strong organizational, methodological and communication skills
  • Ability to promote ideas and to influence team
  • Fluency in English - spoken and written

  • Interest in the diagnostics sector and products
Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Support of project planning, project implementation, progress- & cost control, and project closure. Support of product increment planning and execution in agile product setups.
  • Single point of control for project financial data, collected from functions (eg finance); owns version management and release of changes
  • Supports the team in the tailoring and application of applicable development processes
  • Setup and management of regulatory relevant milestones and checkpoints for projects
  • Drives the project risk management development and implementation process. Challenges identified risks and proposes mitigations.
  • Supports the preparation of the consolidated project status reports
  • Creates and maintains integrated project -, resource- and budget plans
  • Defines and implements harmonized, measures and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) for the projects to enable teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manages project information to support project teams, management teams (eg project steering board, etc.) and decision making
  • Consulting of Project Leader in project management activities
  • Guides team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency and optimization
