Job Title: Project Manager - Supply Chain/Materials Management

For our EME Headquarters based in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, we are looking for a:

Project Manager - Supply Chain/Materials Management

This position will be based at our European Headquarters, Neuhausen in Switzerland. Preferred start date 1st June 2022 or as soon as possible.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager Supply Chain (PMS) will be responsible optimize local and EME wide supply chain processes and tools. The PMS will drive the implementation of EME and global projects and initiatives that lead to the optimization of costs and capacity utilization while meeting specifications/requirements from Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering. In addition, he is responsible for idea generation and implementation of supply chain optimization actions including regional KPI reporting for SCM, packaging, material flow, inventory optimization, supplier development. Support of transportation optimization is an additional task. This position will interact with numerous functions within the organization. • Manage, implement and drive global supply chain projects together with the EME plants • Support the implementation of regional and global KPI standards in EME plants • Implement and execute actions for improving material planning processes and policies across all EME sites • Implement and execute actions for improving inventory parameters and levels across all EME sites • Drive supplier development from supply chain perspective • Implementation and developing of packaging standards and improvement of existing packaging concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Key activities for this new function are the following:

· The PMS is an experienced logistics professional with a strong understanding of all Core logistics and packaging processes from source to sink. PMS needs full understanding of logistics processes as well as deep experience in SCM IT tools, packaging and transportation standards. Strong skills in material planning processes and/or S&OP process required.

· PMS is expected to have a strong understanding of the specification material planning, S&OP and logistics concepts. In terms of the required skill levels, the PMS can support and consult the brands in all relevant logistics processes. Further on, PMS is able to evaluate the cost structure of logistics of supplier in order to analyze alternative logistics processes, and logistics costs, charged to AGCO. The PMS has understanding to drive improvements of identified supply chain process gaps internally and externally.

· The PMS will be required to manage projects and tasks independently. He will also be required to implement supply chain strategies across brands and work to influence the functional leaders within the brands/plants. As a result, conflict/resolution and general leadership skills are expected to be at a high level to ensure success in an traditionally brand-oriented structure

Requirements / Minimum Qualification:

To apply for this position you should have the following qualifications:

· Proven consultancy background and training is essential for this position

· 3+ years of experience in international logistics supply chain preferably (within a consulting environment)

· Proven Materials Management experience is essential

· Previous SAP Implementation (MM, PP, LES) experience is essential

· Willing and able to travel (up to 60 %)

· International experience preferred

· Proficient English language skills (written and spoken) are a pre-requisite

· Project management skills and experience in working across functions, multiple sites and cultures

· Quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

· Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Strong experience with SAP MM, PP, LES is a plus

· University degree required; additional benefits with academic training in business, economics and/or engineering
