To lead Sales and Business Development activities in the Stationary market in EMEA, we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland for a:

Sales & Business Development Manager EMEA (Stationary Storage Solutions)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and manage stationary projects through research activities. Proactively identify projects requiring Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS);
  • Sell, negotiate and close turn-key Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), Engineered Equipment Supply and Service & Maintenance (S&M) agreements;
  • Manage all sales and business development activities - drive robust sales forecasting for designated customer bases;
  • Perform the acquisition of new customers/projects by effectively converting leads into business and nurture customer relationships;
  • Key account management and single point of contact responsibility;
  • Prepare updated presentations on status of business. Report and maintain all relevant information in the company CRM;
  • Run financial project analysis and profitability assessment;
  • Identify opportunities to expand the business through strategic partnerships and channels;
  • Develop accurate and consistent bids to tenders with the help of the relevant departments.

Going forward this job will evolve to include the management of a dedicated sales team.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience. MBA is a plus.
  • Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Business management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in the battery energy storage or REN markets.
  • 7+ years of Sales experience in managing large projects in a multinational environment.

Languages

  • English and French fluent spoken and written.
  • German, Spanish and / or Italian is a plus.

This job will require travelling (up to 30%).
