Security Manager


A day in the role

  • Ensure the security of the company’s systems and protect its assets, by implementing new security strategies, control, monitoring and continuous evaluation. Also, detect, respond and resolve incidents.

  • Track activity, new trends in cyber threats, and take preventive actions. Define and implement cybersecurity indicators, propose corrective actions.

  • Participate in the research, testing, and integration of new solutions.

  • Within the team, participate in the training and support of internal users on tools, procedures and cybersecurity programs.

  • Establish and maintain technical documentation.

  • Keep up with technology through continuing education, professional associations, networking, and coordination of regular software and hardware evaluations.


The keys to your success

  • Graduate with a CFC, Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.

  • Experienced in a position related to information systems, security (incident management plans, vulnerability analyses). Advanced knowledge of security information and event management.

  • Technically, familiar with: firewalls (Fortinet solutions) and security mechanisms; networks, VLANs, operating systems Windows 2k8-2022, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, Windows 10. Cloud environments Google Workspace and Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure. Virtualization VMWare 7, Hyper-V, Proxmox. Remote desktop services environments, and various hosting solutions (Microsoft IIS, Linux Apache / Nginx / Tomcat)

  • Native speaker of English or French, you can communicate in the other language.

  • Rigorous and reactive, you have a remarkable analytical and synthesis mind.

  • Autodidact with a pedagogical approach, you have a sense of intrapreneurship and are looking to expand your skills by taking on a key, multi-role, high quality position.
