Senior Business Development Manager with focus in Chemical Engineering industry - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

Join our Strategy & Business Development team within Chemtech division in Switzerland as Senior Business Development Manager with a focus in Chemical Engineering industry to help us take our strategic growth initiatives to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:
  • Leading and participating in organizational, operational, strategic projects along with business development initiatives
  • Proposing and defining strategic initiatives (incl. M&A projects, screening etc.)
  • Preparing market analysis and reports on activities and/or products and proactively derive strategic growth opportunities and initiatives
  • Ensuring permanent observation and analysis of the markets by establishing and maintaining sources to market data and tracking global economic trends
  • Essentially contributing to and elaborating Chemtech’s strategic plan; and driving the strategic plan implementation together with Business Unit leaders globally
  • Identifying and facilitating sharing of market intelligence, best practices across various divisions and geographies/offices
  • Preparing relevant reporting and analysis
  • Other projects in the Strategy & BD field as assigne
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Master or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering / Sciences
  • Minimum of 5-6 years professional experience preferably in strategic consultancy and / or in leading sales business development activities
  • In-depth know-how in market analysis and economic market aspects and application thereof
  • Experience in chemical engineering industry required
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
