Job Description

You are pioneer who has the ability create, imagine, convince cross functionally. In prior leadership roles you gained relevant operational skills and serve as a role model; gained valuable project/ timeline management capabilities. You are an eloquentcommunicator with great interpersonal skills and have the ability to drive clarity, accountability towards results and target crisp decision making with your functional collaborators. You are an experienced German and English speaking leader that enjoys having a level of autonomy and agility. Here you continue to build on a modern site management, you enjoy working cross functionally with internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders.Diversity, inclusion and belonging as well as concept of green office are key pillars.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for all facilities & operations of the Biogen International HQ in Baar, Switzerland
• Leadthe site facility strategy and continue to buildexcellence in engagement, internally and externally in order tocontinue to shapenew ways of working.
• Chair of the IHQB Site Leadership Team
• Accountable for facilities and site budgets
• Lead cross-functional working groups on topics related to the whole site (for example COVID/crisis management)
• Accountable for Site Health and Safely
• Engage with and host cross functional departments to create an attractive and engaging workplace
• External relations and close cooperation with local / cantonal/ regional authorities
• Assume additional representation of Biogen in selected boards, foundations, institutions, organization.
  

This role is based in Baar, Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven leadership skills 10 years plusin highly complex matrix environment
• Driven and high level of autonomy
• Superior influencing and communications skillsin matrix and non-hierarchical environments
• Sound decision making skills managing conflicting interests
• Strong operational skills; project/ timeline management capabilities
• Fluent German and English
