For our Department Make Asset Management (MAM) we are looking for a

Senior Site Master Plan Lead (f/m/d) 80% or 100% Pensum

The Site Master Plan Lead is leading the compilation of a rolling business and asset site master plan, holistically covering all business units and corresponding assets and infrastructure across all organizations at Schaffhausen site.

Responsibilities

Evaluates and consolidates the mid- and long-term site infrastructure requirements and site development and growth potential across departments and functions

Designs and leads the scenario development to provide a holistic overview of the site requirements and latitude for future development and growth in a consolidated rolling Site Master Plan

Drives and aligns the site business master plan in alignment with site SLT and the site asset master plan program in alignment with MAM COE and updates the rolling LRFP accordingly

Responsible for planning and implementing the appropriate processes to assess the current vs. future state and to consolidate and prepare recommended options and action, leveraging the site strengths and network strategies

Responsible to continuously provide development options to further strengthen the site competitiveness and flexibility and agility towards new products and changes in the overall landscape (technology, energy, environmental goals etc.)

Connects regularly to the GM, the SLT and BU/department leads to get input and foster alignment across site

Closely collaborates with MAM LM and SM platform, MAM COE, PCI and MTO network groups, e.g. Strategic Planning, to be in full global alignment

Identify interdependencies within the Site Master Plan and work with key stakeholders to provide resolution

Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Chemical discipline
  • A minimum of 8 years of related business experience in life science
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Being persuasive, encouraging, and motivating with an ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, project team members, technical teams and business partners.
  • Being self-driven and self-dependent
  • Experience in driving projects and communication on senior leadership level
  • Thorough understanding of business development principles and site master plan deployment to deliver successful growth potential
  • Strong business acumen - possesses a good understanding of the life science business and its overall supply chain business processes and trends
  • Experience in technical and budgetary decisions for capital and new technology project is required
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to work effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • People management experience
  • Experience in people management and the ability to develop talent is required / an asset
  • Language skills: Fluency (oral and written) in German (native speaker) and English with exceptional communication skills
