About our client:

For our client, a world-leading high-tech medical devices company with headquarter in the region of Zurich, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated Software Developer in Test Automation with experience in object-oriented programming, who would like to improve their skills in test automation. This opportunity is open on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities:

  • Programming of automatic test cases for various functions of laboratory weighing instruments on software and system level
  • Supporting the further development of the test, build and automation infrastructure (Windows, Linux)
  • Analyzing test results in cooperation with the development teams
  • Assist the development teams in creating module and integration tests
  • Review requirements for their testability
  • Internal team support for test automation

Your background:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software development in an object-oriented programming language (C#, C++, Java), ideally in an industrial environment
  • Hands-on experience with the .Net Framework and/or with Python is a plus
  • Strong interest in the further development of test automation infrastructure
  • Degree in computer science or electrical engineering (ETH/FH) or equivalent
  • Open-minded and integrative personality
  • Excitement and motivation for challenges as well as a strong willingness to improve yourself
  • Good communication skills in German and English
