We’re looking for Software Engineers to join the Spam and Abuse team at Snap Inc! As a member of Spam and Abuse, you will prototype, develop and productionize technical solutions to protect user security, privacy and safety on our platform. Working from our Yverdon-les-Bains office in Switzerland, you will be tasked with solving interesting technical challenges in the mobile application security domain, architecting and deploying Spam and Abuse client side defenses but also infrastructure to handle our scale and making our platform safe and secure for millions of Snapchatters.

  • What you’ll do:

    • Design and implement large-scale defenses to protect user security, privacy and safety

    • Evaluate and understand the technical tradeoffs of every decision

    • Perform code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality

    • Work cross functionally to deep dive into open problems

    • Participate in the operational and on-call team duties

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

    • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company

    • Solving open ambiguous problems from end to end

    • Love learning and being passionate about helping others

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • BS/BA, MS, or PhD in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience

    • Strong CS fundamentals

    • Good problem solving skills

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • A passion for Snapchat and creativity!

    • Someone who gets excited by tough technical challenges

    • Someone who loves to learn, and is passionate about helping others

    • Someone who can collaborate and work well with others
