  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that is consistent with the overall BNY Mellon Investment Management sales strategy within the allocated target channels.
  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with clients in the German-Speaking Swiss Wholesale marketplace in accordance with the Head Wholesale Switzerland and other Senior Sales Executives. Focus on small- and mid-sized banks, family offices and private wealth managers
  • In addition to the above defined segment within the Wholesale channel, the coverage of a specific range of prospects within the German-Speaking Swiss Institutional market is required as well
  • Constantly build and maintain a good understanding of the full range of BNY Mellon Investment Management products for all sales, relationship management and after sales purposes
  • Coordinate and ensure delivery of after sales service to clients
  • Keep appropriate and constantly updated records of sales activities within our CRM tools including call meeting notes, prospective client contacts, activity against targets, opportunities
  • Liaise with Marketing to ensure the appropriate activities are undertaken to support the sales efforts within the pre-defined channels
  • Carry out back-up function for other Swiss team members

Qualifications
  • Graduate calibre preferred
  • Strong investment knowledge & passion for asset management industry
  • Mother language German (preferably Swiss dialect), very good English skills
  • Working experience in the financial intermediary market required, asset management/fund distribution skills preferred
  • Existing network in the defined distribution channels preferred, but not a must
  • Good team player
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – self starter
