This position is located at our corporate office in Switzerland.
Overview:
This role will take the lead on Corporate Communications activity, which includes the personal PR for the Chairman & CEO, including the management and maintenance of his social media channels, personal website and Wikipedia page, as well as the review and management of other corporate press opportunities for the Aman Executive team.

Simultaneously, to assist with the successful delivery of the Aman Residences proposition and hotel owner/developer relationship management. This position leads on all marketing and communications activity surrounding the Aman Residences portfolio, including the pre-development, development and sales, and post-sales community management phases of each project, as well as the ongoing community management of our top cohort of clients – Aman Residence owners and Aman Club members.

Furthermore, this position will support the Global Head of Residences & Club with the development and implementation of a strategic sales and marketing strategy across the global portfolio of Aman Residences, as well as the creation of a strategic approach for Janu Residences.
Additionally, this role will include leading on the marketing and communications activity for OKO Group projects and developments.

This multi-faceted role has a central focus on ensuring each of these initiatives and verticals in the business is properly reflected on the Chairman and CEO as the sole spokesperson for Aman, positioning him as the successful visionary and conductor for growth across the business through a lens of his exstensive expertise in global development and real estate.
Responsibilities:
Publicist to the Chairman:
  • Strategic placement of profiles and interviews of Aman’s Chairman and CEO, and other C-Suite executives, in target media to being awareness to specific projects and support Aman’s reputation as a developer and manager of residential and commercial real estate
  • Writing speeches for Aman’s CEO and Chairman for investor events, where relevant
  • Help to prepare and educate Aman and Janu for media interaction, through creation of media Q&As, background media profiles, arranging professional media training etc.
  • Management of the CEO’s website including updating with relevant news, projects and reviewing inbound mail
  • SEO Management of CEO’s website including optimising all content and monitoring online analytics and ongoing management of Search Results, optimising to reduce visibility of any negative articles
  • Working alongside SEO agency to manage CEO’s digital profile and ensure positive reputation management
  • Managing CEO’s social media platforms with a focus on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Wikipedia
  • Providing support on any crisis activity for the company and the Chairman & CEO
  • Support the Global Head of Communications on launch strategy and lead communications for new openings and news brands, with a specific focus on communications activity for the Chairman & CEO

Marketing & Communications, Aman Residences & Club:
  • With the Global Head of Residences and Club to develop and execute a creative and business driven marketing, communications, and sales plan to support the ongoing promotion and sales of Aman Branded Residences – through the careful lens and central focus of aligning to the Chairman’s personal brand and communications efforts.
  • Take strategic and creative responsibility for promoting Aman Residences internationally, with a specific focus on forthcoming projects during the pre-development and development phases
  • Manage Aman Residences and OKO marketing staff and consultants
  • Oversee Aman Residences and OKO marketing budget creation for inclusion into overall business plan, and monitor cost proposals
  • Develop and take ownership of the ongoing community engagement strategy for the Aman Residents and Aman Club Members, ensuring they are continually engaged with and marketed to, driving sales across all areas of the brand, including hotel, retail, F&B, wellness, etc.
  • Work with the Marketing Director of Aman Residences & Club to deliver an ongoing program of activity for Aman Club members, including exclusive offers, retail offers and experiences, including private shopping, and F&B and wellness experiences
  • Advise Aman Residences Sales Directors on marketing activity surrounding their respective projects, including client events, targeted email marketing, etc.
  • Work closely with Sales Directors to develop a content-driven strategy of ongoing client liaison via Salesforce to drive progression through the sales funnel
  • Management of the Aman Residences pages on Aman.com and the sales process via web to lead generations
  • Working closely with the CRM teams to ensure the Aman Club portal is fit for purpose, and being used effectively to promote all relevant content to Aman Club Members and Residents
  • Devising creative and newsworthy campaigns for Aman Residences to be utilised across all relevant marketing channels, including EDMs, organic social, paid social, affiliate programmes and PR
  • Campaign development and implementation for Aman Club Members and Residents
  • Leading on the relationship management with developers and hotel owners ensuring consistency of communications and the efficient sharing of relevant information as relates to the project and ongoing Aman Residences management
  • Working closely with Aman Business Intelligence team to utilise data to support campaign development and associated activity, including positioning of Aman Residences globally
  • Write professional business-led press releases and other marketing assets for use to deliver the approved marketing and communications plan
  • Supporting the wider Aman development team and Aman Residences team with the creation of pitch decks and other presentations for investment and development pitches for future projects
  • Development and ongoing management of Amansanti communications surrounding Aman Residences internal referral programme
  • Consider and continually review all touch points of the Aman Residences experience and ensure brand consistency, from the initial sales outreach to the moment Aman Residents receive their keys
  • Sensitively promote and safeguard Aman’s brand identity; ensure a positive, consistent and accurate representation
  • Development of marketing and communications plans and implementation of associated activity for OKO Group projects
  • Development of the Janu Residences proposition and associated marketing and communications activity alongside the Global Head of Residences and Club
  • Management of direct reports, currently including:
    • Marketing Director, Aman Residences & Club
    • Marketing & Sales Coordinators (x2), Aman Residences & Club
    • Director of Member Relations APO, EMEA
    • OKO PR & Marketing Manager (F&B focused)
  • Ongoing management of relevant PR agencies, including Schwartz for construction PR, and M18 for real estate sales press and Chairman & CEO profiling opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Must be strategic and detail orientated, creative, energetic and have superior initiative
  • Educated to degree level or possess equivalent level qualifications and/or experience in public relations and communications
  • Experience in similar role (3-5 years)
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to handle many diverse projects simultaneously
  • Fluent business English, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate decision-making skills and have the ability to communicate at all levels
