Part of Leonardo (through its Helicopter division), Kopter is set to become a Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies; also contributing to the development of new hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. The single-engine, turbine-powered AW09 now under development will outperform its peers with increased modularity, modern electronic systems, and a larger cabin and cargo hold. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards, more performance and comfort at low operating costs. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based near Zurich, Switzerland – with corporate/engineering offices at Wetzikon, and the production facilities in the towns of Mollis and Näfels.

The Purchaser Is Responsible For

Your responsibilities

►Timely submission of Purchasing Orders, in accordance with the production needs (in consultation with strategic purchasers)

►Managing suppliers and expedite deliveries of the parts and monitor supplier development activity timely escalating criticalities

►Creating & maintaining up to date all the Procurement related master data

►Ensuring compliance with guiding principles and values of the company

Tasks

►To send RFP and RFQs in close collaboration with Strategic Purchasers and to support Strategic Purchasers in commercial negotiations

►To issue and send Purchase Orders and all needed documents

►Expedite and keep track of order confirmations and to adapt the purchase accordingly if required

►Continuous expediting of part deliveries and issues escalation

►To maintain procurement views of part numbers in SAP

►To create info records, order books in SAP, managing related activities with Strategic Purchasers

►To validate repair orders according to EASA Part-145

Competences

Your qualifications

Education in business administration / economics and/or similar further education

►English spoken and written – C1

Good knowledge of ERP systems, e.g. SAP MM (Materials Mgmt.)

►Analytical Skills

►Good communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)

►Proactive and self-driven attitude

►Team-player mindset

►Multi-cultural mindset

►Strong business partnering skills

►Reliable, flexible, cooperative

Experience

►2-3 years of professional experience in operational purchasing in an international environment

►Supplier Management in Aerospace (is a plus)

►Knowledge of aviation regulations (is a plus)
