We are looking for a Purchasing and Warehouse Lead Officer W/M, who will be responsible for the efficient storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including, but not limited to materials, tools, machinery, auto fleet, PPE and clothing, while implementing measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency.

As a Purschaser, you will need to meet the daily demands required by the office and field staff to perform as efficiently as possible. You need to be able to work with vendors to eliminate the company’s risk. You need to be proactive and aware of all related markets.

  • Ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met,
  • Coordinationating the use of automated moving into computerized systems,
  • Producing regular purchasing reports on a weekly/monthly basis,
  • Communicating market conditions and merchandise costs to the management team,
  • Locating vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability, price comparisons and terms of sale,
  • Evaluating vendors and conduct buy-out pricing,
  • Negotiating rates with common carrier representatives,
  • Administering on-line purchasing systems (ERP Select Line),
  • Participating in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials,
  • Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts,
  • Analyzing market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability,
  • Anticipating and prevent product shortages for daily operations,
  • Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment,
  • Receiving invoicing and verify against purchase orders,
  • Dealing with all customs and agent procedures relations,
  • Working with accounts payable to make sure information is accurate before entering into the accounting system,
  • Being well organised in maintaining documents for internal audits.

Warehouse:

As a warehouse Lead Officer you must ensure productivity targets are met and maintain an administration of storage and retrieval system, which will be moving to a computerized methodology(ERP). You will ensure workplace health, HACCP and safety requirements are met.

  • Organizing and Supervising warehouse daily activities,
  • Possessing HACCP Know-how and follow all procedures,
  • Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity,
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials,
  • Managing, preventing and restocking production shortages for daily operations,
  • maintain suitable inventory levels,
  • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy,
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation,
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds,
  • Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment,
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments,
  • Producing detailed reports on the traceability of goods delivered to the various departments,
  • Daily organisational efficiency to produce all necessary documentation for internal audits.

What you bring with you:

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration,

· Proven experience managing supply, warehouse or procurement,

· In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms,

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access),

· Management and leadership skills,

· Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks,

· Highly organized and detail-oriented,

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
