To support our Manufacturing Operations in Chavornay, we are looking for a:

Requirements

Reporting to the Supply Chain & Procurement Director, the Purchasing Manager will be primarily responsible for supplying raw materials, equipment and services in line with company requirements including

Develop and execute the Purchasing strategies that meet SICPA’s business needs and creates a sustainable competitive advantage Manage the Purchasing function coordinating internally/externally requirements from forecasts to production operations Ensure provision of products and services in the quantity/quality that meets SICPA specifications considering total cost of ownership Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, maintain accurate records Manage a team of purchasing specialists Lead improvement / digitalisation projects related to procurement processes and flows Provide guidance and ensure Purchasing process and governance for SICPA Manufacturing Operations at a global level

PROFILE

University degree in a supply chain related discipline or Federal Diploma in Purchasing At least 10 years of experience in relevant purchasing positions (products and services) with at least 3 years of people management experience, ideally in an industrial and international environment Good knowledge of demand management and production planning processes, MRP/MPS Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office suite, data and analytics tools: Power BI an asset Strong business acumen and analytical skills Excellent communication and leadership skills Fluent in English and French, German an asset
