The opening is for a Quality Analyst in the Control Management Organization. The team has responsibility for monitoring and testing adherence to policies and procedures by Client Advisors and Control/Support functions across EMEA. The testing primarily covers Suitability, Cross-Border activity, and Selling Practices.In addition you will be trained as a support to the Shared Services subject-matter-expert for the Quality Assurance systems, processes and technology, learning business processes pertaining to population and sampling.Responsibilities will be based on the following approx. ratio of 70% (testing) / 30% (shares services).This Individual WillExecute Quality Assurance testing against established criteria; additionally, testing requires subject matter expertise with the ability to draw inferences, identify root cause, and make recommendations for corrective actionActively participates in LOB feedback sessions as testing results SME and offers clarifying commentary as needed to support findingsPerform run-the-engine duties for assigned Shared Services processes: sampling, test set up, production support, and report and data generationResponsibilities Include
  • Articulate findings verbally in meetings, analyse disputes, reassessments, and escalations, and demonstrates fortitude against potential adversity
  • Provides verbal and written summaries of findings and corresponding corrective actions
  • May act as a liaison with offshore team, and provide subject matter expertise
  • Provides feedback pertaining to processes and opportunities for enhancement
  • May perform targeted reviews
  • Ensures testing job aids are kept current and are beneficial tools for the Quality Specialists and Analysts
  • Participates in new test creation or modification as new obligations or requirements changes
  • Assist users to trouble shoot issues among reports, systems, processes, and procedures
  • Perform user acceptance testing, data validation as needed
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with users of the Shared Services technology, tools and data.
  • Perform maintenance to existing tools, platforms, databases, and tables
  • Help to develop and program new business processes
  • Identify opportunities for process, software, or technology improvement to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance process or controls.
Qualifications And Required Skills
  • Position requires experience in oversight functions such as auditing and/or operational quality assurance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a continuous process improvement mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
  • Ability to quickly absorb industry knowledge, business processes, policies and regulatory requirements
  • Flexible and able to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment e.g. in response to changing demands in workloads and priorities
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Risk and control management experience
  • Relationship building and conflict management
  • Fluent English
  • German speaker is an asset
  • College or Business degree in Information Technology, Operations Research, Business Management or similar fields
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint including creation of standard forms, and workflows
  • Working knowledge of Office Professional Suite including Excel, Project, Visio and Access
  • Knowledge of ALTERYX is an asset .
