Description

We are looking for a talented QA Engineer (partial remote work possible) to join our growing team in Lausanne.

You will join our development team in Lausanne, focusing on new mobile product development in an agile environment. Within the team, your main task will be to use your QA engineering expertise both to design and develop the software testing framework, and contribute to good software engineering practices in the team.

You will be in charge of the final QA steps of our products, including the introduction of test automation, but also manual testing in the field. You have learned from direct experience that the most important characteristic of software is maintainability. You understand the importance of automated testing and how to make testing scalable and maintainable. You accelerate the overall product development by ensuring the products are robust and making tools to find problems before our customers do.

Responsibilities

• Identify testing procedures that can or should be automated, and work closely on the design and architecture of those procedures with Pix4D development teams
• Develop a consistent and scalable testing framework to accelerate new products’ development
• Provide tools and metrics to help the development teams monitor regressions and improvements in the software
• Collaborate in the full product life-cycle, from early concepts and prototypes to full deployment
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a test or development role as part of a product development team
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
• Experience working on mobile cross-platform projects
• Creativity and initiative to improve test coverage and effectiveness
• Excellent bug reporting and tracking skills
• Strong scripting skills preferred, Python experience a strong plus
• Understanding of Continuous Integrations systems a strong plus
• Proficient English language skills, written and spoken
