Job Description


SGS M-Scan SA Plan-les-Ouates is a world leading group in chemical and biochemical analysis specialized in high-end GLP/GMP contract analytical services in Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography and Biophysical techniques. We provide analytical services in Life Sciences, including structural analysis of biologics (proteins, glycoproteins and carbohydrates), their quantification and various chemical studies.

You will assist the site Quality Assurance Unit in the performance of their activities in order to satisfy customers, regulatory authorities and Global Quality Excellence. Duties will include:

  • Assist in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System;
  • Manage the SOPs system;
  • Manage Deviations, CAPAs, Change Control, Out-Of-Specification systems;
  • Review analytical protocols/study plans, CoAs and reports, including analytical raw data, in order to verify compliance with GXP principles and relevant SOPs;
  • Perform internal audits of documentation and procedures;
  • Perform external audits/qualification of subcontractors;
  • Prepare audit reports summarising audit observations, distribute the report to appropriate personnel and follow up actions;
  • Oversee equipment qualification and validation;
  • Assist during regulatory, customer and global QE audits;
  • Assist in the review of Quality/Technical Agreements.

Qualifications
  • Bsc/Msc diploma or equivalent in a science discipline (e.g. analytical chemistry, biochemistry);
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance position in a GMP or GLP facility.;
  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English;
  • Practical knowledge of Trackwise Digital will be an advantage;
  • Experience in working in a contract service lab would be appreciated.

This position will be based at our lab in Plan les Ouates.
