An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available at Neuchâtel Plant (approx. 600 employees) for an experienced Project Leader to join our Quality Control department.

Mission

Working within the Quality Control team, your mission will be to develop project culture within the QC teams and provide project leadership for all QC projects that are required to improve and ensure Neuchatel laboratories efficiency & capabilities and contribute to its transformation into a “lab of the future”.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Quality Control Project leader with the QC teams ensures continuous support for the Takeda Neuchatel laboratory processes and operations, is specifically responsible for managing and delivering projects of varying complexity such as method transfer & validation, equipment purchase & qualification, data integrity & digitalisation programs, lab extension & revamping.

As Part Of The Quality Control Team And In Dotted Line With The “Capital Projects Engineering” Team, The Project Leader Quality Control Has The Responsibility Of Managing The QC Related Projects
  • Act as project leader for some projects and as coordinator for all other QC projects
  • Define and ensure the QC projects dashboard
  • Coordinate and supervise project execution related activities, from initiation to close out
  • Develop, clarify and manage the scope of the project, define contract deliverables and achieve targeted outcomes
  • Ensure project requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within purchasing and budget guidelines
  • Assemble project team, identify needed resources, assign responsibilities and develop timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities
  • Ensure compatibility and consistency with existing organization and industry standards “(PMI, GMP, etc.)”
  • Respect and apply the Takeda EHS rules
  • Ensure the communication with all the project stakeholders
  • In charge of deploying efficient project management processes and culture within the QC
  • Develop project management tools taken into the count all project matters and build associated trainings within the QC

Requirements
  • At least five years of experience in project management and biotechnology / medical industry
  • Engineering degree (BS, MS or equivalent) in biotechnology, medical, biology, chemistry or pharmacy or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry and/or Food/Chemical Industry
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince or equivalent) is a plus
  • Computer skills: MS-Office suite and MS-Project
  • Proven leadership skills in managing teams in project matrix organization (indirect resources)
  • Excellent ability to work within a team
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • French and English (spoken and written)
  • Flexible and open-minded approach
