Summary

Develop, lead, and execute the site quality programs as directed by the sites’ business quality strategies and site leadership.

Lead and facilitate site cross-functional synergies related to quality.

Promote a customer focused quality culture.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work with businesses and key site stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of MPQ processes and tools.
  • Lead the development, implementation and tracking of site quality performance. For example
    • optimize the value of quality auditing programs (internal, external, supplier & customer),
    • lead quality assurance governance of site leveraged services, functions & utilities,
    • monitor effective deployment of SFDC complaint management system for product quality responses, site shipment error rates, COA generation, etc.
  • Drive and champion improvements for site quality, leveraging quality metrics.
  • Supports the continual development of site Quality Coordinator (QC)/ quality professional’s network to improve site quality performance.
  • Lead in identifying site quality training needs, and facilitate training and leveraging of best practices.
  • Conduct training of quality professionals as applicable.
  • Network with site-QSS network & business quality organizations to facilitate quality system training and leveraging of best practices & sharing of learning experiences.
  • Work with global experts to provide expertise and support on local regulations (e.g. ISO 9001, Quality Systems elements of the Operating Discipline Management System).
  • Oversee site quality audit program for site facilities, including plants, labs, and warehouses and other central facilities and functions as applicable.
  • Engage and assist site services and functions (e.g. Site Logistics) in identifying and achieving quality-related goals and targets.
  • Work with the business quality team to assist in the implementation and trouble-shooting of quality, and quality-related, work processes, tools, procedures and requirements. e.g. 2nd level trouble shooting in QM, COA generation.
  • Lead development & implementation of site raw materials acceptance, as appropriate leveraging business requirements.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science
  • Several years of relevant experience
  • Qualification as a lead auditor would be very beneficial
  • This is a key role to ensure that the MPQ Business and Site Quality Strategies are effectively implemented to maximize value creation. Strong technical/ conceptual skills, courageous leadership, collaboration skills.
  • Ability to enable others to bring business success and customer focus.
