Job content

Execution of various experiments in the areas of mineral powder modifications and technical polymer applications
Responsible for the safe execution of micro-particle surface treatments, surface coatings, particles characterization, polymer processing and analysis on polymeric products
Complete and precise reporting of the experimental work to ensure data reproducibility
Support of chemists for various research projects
Work in an ISO-certified environment
Use of various analytical techniques for powder and polymer evaluation (TGA, chromatography, rheology, mechanical testing equipment)
Responsible for the cleanliness/safety of the lab on a daily basis and monitoring instruments performance
Responsible for logistics in the lab
20% of workload will be in Egerkingen / SO

Successful completed apprenticeship as Laboratory Technician or similar technical degree in the field of chemistry or polymer science
Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
Good practical knowledge in chemistry and polymer science
Experience in polymer compounding and extrusion is a plus
Excellent computer and software skills in Word and Excel
Motivated by lab work and practical experimentation
Excellent team spirit
Good command of both German and English, French is an asset
