Optotune is a strongly growing and internationally active optics company based in Dietikon, Switzerland. We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets.

Tasks
  • Development of next generation lens products - from the idea to the product
  • Process development in a cleanroom environment, manufacturing, and analysis of new lens concepts
  • Development of mass production process capabilities to bring new lens projects to production
  • Feasibility studies and performance tests of prototypes targeted for mass production
  • Validation of new materials and new manufacturing procedures
  • Data evaluation, analysis, reporting, and regular presentations within project teams
  • Collaboration with project leaders and multidisciplinary engineers to create new products
  • 50-70% of work in cleanroom


Requirements
  • Master or PhD degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry or equivalent
  • Experience in product development and production ramp up is required
  • Broad technical understanding in cleanroom environment, optics and mechanical engineering
  • Creative, well organized, proactive, autonomous, and open for new challenges
  • Goal oriented and structured working style in a dynamic working environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Good knowledge of English, German is a plus
