Your Responsibilities Working at Sensirion allows you to tackle an array of exciting challenges every day. Set new standards in the field of sensor technology as part of a highly motivated interdisciplinary team. Your colleague, Raphaelle (R&D Engineer), describes their day-to-day work below.What are the specific tasks? In the team, we are developing a new sensor that is used in the field of respiration monitoring in medical ventilators. I characterize the sensor under the influencing parameters of exhaled air and test it for reliability and long-term stability. I contribute my ideas to improve the performance to meet the requirements of our medical customers. Furthermore, I build measurement setups, perform experiments and interpret the obtained measurement data.Together, we develop a new sensor for breath analysis in medical ventilators. I characterize the sensor within the breathing conditions, and test it for reliability and long-term stability. I generate ideas to improve the sensor performance in order to fulfill the requirements of our medical customers. Furthermore, I improve measurement setups, perform experiments and evaluate the corresponding measurement data.What are the daily challenges? In product development, you will constantly encounter new technical challenges, which you will tackle creatively and in a solution-oriented manner. You are challenged to acquire relevant technical knowledge about the sensor functionality, the integrated electronics and the application environment. You act as a technical sensor expert both internally at Sensirion and vis-à-vis customers and can actively help shape new application possibilities.What are the daily challenges?
