• Successful university degree in a technical discipline (preferably microsystems engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics or similar).
• Experience in the characterisation of electronic components or MEMS devices as well as corresponding software knowledge (e.g. Python)
• Hands-on experience with MEMS or semiconductor processes
• First experience in project management and organising collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.

Your Responsibilities In our CMOSens technology, we combine innovative ASIC, MEMS and packaging designs to create unique sensor solutions.In interdisciplinary teams you will develop new sensor designs and associated production processes. You will take over the management of MEMS projects and will be responsible for the development of the MEMS part of new products - from the idea to the handover to high-volume production. Your future colleague, Sebastian (Senior R&D Engineer), tells you about his daily work routine below.What are the specific tasks? Depending on the status of a project, the tasks are very different. At the beginning of a new sensor, I work out various concepts together with colleagues from the other development groups, which we then try to test as efficiently as possible with prototypes. This means a lot of design work, simulations, setting up new measurement setups, characterising the new sensors and evaluating new processes. Later in the project, the focus changes to a lot of collaboration with the process engineers and production, because in the end you need the most cost-effective and stable processes possible.What are the daily challenges? It is often about finding the most efficient way to reach the goal. It is a matter of making the right decisions without already understanding everything. Often things turn out differently than you think, be it new problems or requirements - that makes it exciting. The all-rounder function between project management and cleanroom work, as well as the cooperation with many different teams and external partners is very versatile and motivating.What are the daily challenges?
