Your tasks

In order to support the rapidly growing reference material business, we are opening a new life science lab at the Buchs SG site, thereby enabling the expansion of our analytical research and development activities. The flexible state-of-the-art design comprising lab- and office-space will create a collaborative environment and foster efficient working.

In this newly created position, you will develop novel, innovative and digital customer solutions for the use of certified reference materials in different market segments with the main emphasis on NMR applications. You are responsible for planning and performing high-precision weighing and quantitative NMR (qNMR) analyses. This includes the evaluation of the data and the exact documentation of experiments. You have a passion for electronic data handling and database work. You will also write technical articles and publications, and actively participate in improvement processes. The cooperation with other departments (e.g. marketing, quality assurance, production, filling) completes your job profile.

Your qualifications

  • Master or PhD degree in analytical chemistry
  • Sound NMR knowledge
  • Expertise in other analytical techniques, e.g. LCMS, GCMS
  • Basic knowledge of ISO or GMP regulations
  • Accurate and target-oriented working style
  • Team-oriented personality enjoying independent work
  • Effective communication skills in German and English
