Who you are

’- To contribute to the growth and long-term profitability of the IKEA store through systems and methods for lowering costs, increasing quality perception, handling
quality matters and maximising profit.

This is done by:
  • driving co-operation across functions and focussing on damages, sales errors and quality problems, there by preventing costs to occur in the first place.
  • utilising the right methods for optimising the revenue from IKEA products that would otherwise not be possible to sell.
  • contribute to the IKEA sustainability goals by giving products a second chance, or through sustainable divestment of products where this is not possible

Your responsibilities

’- To lead, develop and manage the recovery and quality work in her or his store.
  • To prevent unnecessary costs to assets and give products a second chance while keeping the bottom line profit and sustainability in mind.
  • This is achieved through continuous development, follow ups and support for working methods, processes and tools.
  • To work proactively across functions and together with the relevant quality matrix identify, investigate, report and follow up potential improvements regarding the quality associated with IKEA products.
  • To secure the Recovery department’s contribution to business goals through representation in the store and national forums. This encourages co-operation between functions with the aim of achieving an optimal positive impact on the bottom line and the environment.
