Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in Staffing, Recruiting, HR, or consulting within the Tech industry.
  • Experience consulting and managing customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing people and talent efforts across organizations.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience owning a recruiting function, with a background managing a team and customer groups.
  • Experience solving complex problems, designing creative strategies, and delivering significant impact as a manager.
  • Knowledge and experience in technical recruiting.
  • Ability to develop employees and maximize individual and team performance while maintaining a fun working environment.
  • Ability to consult, influence, and manage customers and drive efforts/projects through relationships and a broad knowledge base.
  • Demonstrated personal accountability and integrity with the ability to build relationships across the business.

In this role, you will lead a high-visibility growth area, and work closely with the Executive Management client team to develop recruiting strategies that help shape the future of Google Cloud. You’ll prioritize team resources and manage performance to achieve hiring goals and optimize customer and candidate experience. You will report directly to a Technical Staffing Lead and be part of the extended tech staffing leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a staffing business strategy that will be the framework for achieving an annual hiring plan that emphasizes quality and diversity of hires, process efficiency, and client management/candidate satisfaction.
  • Manage, build, and develop a staffing team.
  • Lead staffing resource planning processes for supported teams, working in close collaboration with Product Area Staffing Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Staffing Effectiveness teams.
  • Communicate all dimensions of staffing business plans, status/progress/gaps to tech leadership while solving problems with them to improve effectiveness and results.
  • Manage and influence business partner relationships with a variety of teams to ensure overall staffing objectives are met. Partner closely with horizontal staffing teams on hiring progress across various sites.
