For our Swiss headquarter in Cham site, we are looking for a Regional Finance Controler Compliance and Operations (M/W)

Position Overview

The position is responsible for supporting the SOT EU Finance Team by leading the EU finance efforts related to IT / Process compliant tasks (i.e. ERP upgrade or deployment, Finance Processes upgrade or deployment, …) and by reporting the key KPIs related to Manufacturing productivity (CCP, Yield, Procurement, CI/CoE, …)and the key KPIs related to Finance functional interaction (master data, S&OP, …)

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsabilities

Operations

Finance KPIs

In collaboration with the EU Finance leaders, the position will oversee:

  • Deployment and reporting of Finance Trackers (i.e. sales statistic errors reports, S&OP adherence, …)
  • Alignment with Finance leaders on key corrective actions to be design and supervise their deployment

Manufacturing and Productivity KPI’s

In collaboration with Finance leaders, design and deployment of key Finance Metrics in order to:

  • Harmonize the EU Finance metrics
  • Deploy the Finance metrics
  • Design the Finance metrics reporting model
  • Deploy the Finance metrics reporting model

In collaboration with the Director, Continuous Improvement Softgel and the Director Procurement SOT EU&APAC, the position will oversee:

  • Operational Metrics alignment with P&L impact
  • Identification of key Operational area of productivity improvement
  • Identification of key Direct and Indirect cost improvement Compliant

Compliant

System

In collaboration with the EU Finance leaders, the position will oversee:

  • Design and deployment of updated or new system / ERP

Process

In collaboration with the EU Finance leaders, the position will oversee:

  • Design and deployment of updated or new processes which impact the day to day activity of the Finance Team

Essential Skills and Expérience

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree preferred (ideally with concentration in Accounting)
  • 10+ years’ experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Knowledge JD Edwards strongly preferred
  • Hyperion/HFM or some related reporting tool preferred
  • Strong understanding of SOX, US-GAAP, local GAAP
  • Experience with Lean implementation also desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Languages: Fluency in English
  • Ability to solve complex practical problems
  • Solid experience with complex ERP environment
  • Strong understanding of operation financial processes
  • Mentally strong to challenge assumptions and handle complex environment
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Fast-paced and Performance driven
  • Customer focused
  • Collaborative and inclusive and acts as a Team player
