Regional Finance Manager - E&PS EMEA

Location: UK, Ireland, Belgium or Zug, Switzerland

Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Finance, is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager supporting the Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) organization in the EMEA Region.

Responsibilities

The E&PS Finance Manager will partner with the E&PS EMEA Regional Leadership team to provide strategic financial leadership for the E&PS end to end portfolio. This will include analysis and monitoring of regional financial commitments, visibility on facility operating costs, headcount and developing business/value cases for strategic projects and initiatives within region including Real Estate.
  • This person will partner with site leads, external suppliers, and local finance (Regional Finance Managers/Director’s) to ensure cross-sector, cross-functional alignment of specific projects/strategies and provide insights to key drivers for annual Business Planning and forecast submissions.
  • This person will be responsible and be the finance lead with key Strategic External Service Providers to deliver on cost commitments and drive continuous financial performance improvement.
  • This person will play a key role for the E&PS finance organization (support of project SigniFi) to continue to advance regional/global reporting capabilities to improve the transparency of facilities site spend to empower E&PS leadership to make strategic trade-offs through earlier visibility to financial performance.

The role requires a high level of independence, strong communication and collaboration skills, the ability to perform analysis with limited supervision, and the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders (Supply Chain/Commercial finance teams, Business Operations, Procurement, Facilities Management, Real Estate, E&PS leadership, Strategic External Service Providers).

Team management

This person will supervise one direct report and must prioritize activities, ensuring a high level of customer service. The ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks will be critical for success in this role.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • A MBA, CPA, CMA and/or other financial certification is preferred
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required
  • Good technical skills in accounting and finance are required
  • Strong understanding of cash flows and project analysis tools is required
  • Experience in facilities management and/or real estate market is preferred
  • The candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency on MS Office is required
  • Prior people management experiences preferred
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required
  • The individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required

Location and travel:
  • The preferred location for this role is either UK, Ireland, Belgium or Zug.
  • This role may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
