We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager – Central to join our International Commercial organization in Switzerland - Villars-sur-Glâne/Fribourg. In this key-function you will report directly to the Head Commercial and you will be responsible for the maximisation of brand sales & partner products in the central region of Switzerland. You will also act as Key Account Manager in the same region and be an important member of the existing Sales Management team.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

Member of Cross functional Teams
  • Definition and implementation of marketing and sales strategy.
  • Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising and promotional programs.
  • Gains insights through market observation and customer feedbacks, identifies marketing opportunities by identifying patient and customer requirements.
  • Works close to Medical Advisors, Product Manager, Commercial Effectiveness, Market Access Managers, and other internal stakeholders
Sales Team Leader & Key Account Manager
  • Leading a sales team by communicating on objectives and expectations, living a vivid example, coaching the individual team members and helping them to receive the necessary support.
  • Management of Sales Team (by recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching and disciplining employees)
  • Manages and follow budgets and deadlines.
  • Consolidate and develop KOL network.
  • Provides information to internal stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data & trends.
  • Keep regular contact with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities and negotiate contracts.
General
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Spends at least 40% of time outside, either for double visits or alone, for the development of projects and for a systematic stakeholder management in the assigned working area.
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.
  • Self-driven person that is eager to use their energy for our company, her team and for the benefit of patients.
  • Medical, scientific, or paramedical education
  • Proven pharmaceutical sales/marketing experience
  • Independent planning and organization of own daily activities
  • Excellent at negotiating and communicating
  • German or French mother tongue (with good knowledge of the other language), scientific English is an asset
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
