Your tasks

The main purpose of the INS Global Distribution team is to sustainably grow HUBER+SUHNER business and develop long term key business relationships.

The Regional Sales Partner Manager reports directly to the Vice President Global Distribution and is the main interface between HUBER+SUHNER and our 3rd party sales channels. In co-operation with the extended team (SBD and T&O) the Regional Sales Partner Manager develops and implements a channel strategy for a certain region or market segment, this includes the channel coverage planning across the market cycle and for various customer segments that might exist in a given market segment. The initial identification, evaluation and acquisition of channel partners are a key activity of the function and will usually be finalised with the negotiation and signing of a contract. The ongoing process of channel management is to secure that our HUBER+SUHNER actively develops and grows its sales through these channels, whilst adapting to changing market conditions and buying behaviors of customers.


  • Be the interface between sales channel and HUBER+SUHNER
  • Strong communication to sales channel partners (for strong alignment and efficiency)
  • Define regional strategy and tactics for increasing sales and market penetration
  • Coordinate activities of team throughout region / designated partner network to achieve this
  • Identify new markets & channels that can be penetrated, and develop tactical plan to achieve this
  • Review and identify shifts in customers buying behaviors, and act
  • Evaluate, select and appoint best in class channel partners
  • Facilitate and support the sales in the countries through training of local resources
  • Actively promote HUBER+SUHNER products/solutions and brand
  • Run the annual budgeting and business planning and review meetings with the partner
  • Request accurate sales forecast from the distributor, key projects and POS
  • Manage annual Marketing Support Plan for the country
  • Manage Ppyments, credit lines / overdues
  • Provide business performance statistics (e.g. sales) to sales partners

Your profile

  • Background in engineering with further commercial education
  • Basic understanding of HUBER+SUHNER technologies, solutions and products
  • Several years’ experience in channel or direct selling in B2B environment
  • Ability to work with and across various cultures
  • Good financial and commercial acumen with strong negotiating and communication skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of legal and commercial contractual matters
  • Good communication, networking and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of market segmentation and related drivers influencing the buying behaviors of players in these markets
  • Strategically minded, with leadership qualities and winning mentality
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Strong team player
  • Growth mindset
