MAIN OBJECTIVE

Member of the European regional team, the Regional Strategic Planning Manager is a key contributor to optimizing and scheduling branding activities across Europe. This role will be responsible for amplifying markets’ communication plans by being the first contact point and conductor in the definition and deployment of European communication and branding strategies. This person must possess a thorough understanding and appraisal of all communication métiers with strong media acumen and have proven experience in collaborating successfully with cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables in a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define a region/markets granular calendar by fostering synergies while safekeeping local relevance in each market

  • Collect, consolidate and update markets’ communication calendar into one robust European strategy
  • Activate amplification building pan-European strategies: brief regional media campaigns, manage a menu of EU experiences to be leveraged across markets by type of audiences…

Be responsible for the right implementation of the European calendar

  • Design workstreams together with heads of communication to make sure all needs are considered when building cross-market opportunities
  • Be the sparring partner of the regional e-commerce team to reinforce the Maison’s website as a key branding platform

Prepare performance analyses and insights to drive strategic reflections

  • Collaborate with HQ on deploying comprehensive 360° communication performance dashboards
  • Guide markets’ assessments on their own performance by working with external agencies through tailor-made seminars

Monitor the region’s communication budget and analyze local initiatives for utmost return on investment

  • Determine with markets budget needs per fiscal, total and per disciplines (PR/Media/Events/VM/Creative Contents) and ensure the follow-up all year long
  • Rebalance market investments within the region in sync with the evolution of market priorities
  • Work closely with HQ to advocate the need for key resources based on markets’ strategies and mid-term plan sustaining the region’s dynamics
  • Be responsible for markets’ due closing of A&P spending

Be a business partner for markets and our e-commerce hub to ensure both support and rationalization

  • Audit and continuously improve ways of working among all teams involved
  • Animate the European Marketing and Communication community to co-construct a virtuous circle of learnings while avoiding silos and deduplication costs across markets

YOUR PROFILE

Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in Communication with special appetite for digital marketing
  • Excellent project management skills in complex environment (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.)
  • Expertise in Luxury Retail Industry is a plus
  • Flexibility and independent working style
  • Excellent collaborative, organizational and synthesis skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, French considered an asset
