Sygnum’s RegTech & Crypto Compliance Services team supports and enables Financial Intermediaries through innovation and trust to offer digital assets to their clients. We offer compliant, conceivable and efficient services as well as tools for a Financial Intermediary’s digital assets offering.

In order to support our clients and colleagues with dedicated experience and expertise we are looking for a Compliance Officer for Digital Assets to join our team.

Tasks

Responsibilities:
  • Write comprehensive KYC profiles for wealth originating from digital assets
  • Review and analyse wallet addresses with blockchain forensic tools
  • Conduct transaction monitoring for transactions on the blockchain
  • Help enhancing Sygnum’s RegTech and Crypto Compliance offering
  • Proactively provide guidance for the compliant and efficient use of digital assets
  • Contribute to the further development of internal workflows and tools for Digital Asset Compliance
  • Advise internal stakeholders and clients as subject matter expert
Requirements

What you need to succeed:
  • University degree in Law
  • Compliance relevant working experience with financial intermediaries in Switzerland (2-3 years at least)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience related to digital assets and blockchain forensic tools
  • Familiarity with the Swiss and Global AML frameworks for digital assets in addition to fiat assets
  • Excellent communication skills in English are a must, including the ability to summarize findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills as well as a high level of flexibility and adaptability to changes
  • High degree of integrity, business acumen and openness to feedback is required
  • A positive, forward-thinking personality and can-do attitude with a dedicated interest towards Compliance and Risk topics
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive own projects independently and out of own initiative
  • Creative mind, willing to challenge the status quo and come up with new solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great team player with excellent communication skills in English and German
Desirable:
Further education and certificates relating to digital assets and blockchain technology are an advantage
